SJSU & CSU Licensing Agreements
The CSU has established software licensing agreements for Adobe, Brio, Filemaker, Interactive Mathematics, Macromedia, Microsoft, Oracle, PeopleSoft, SPSS, and Symantec software. For a complete list of software licensing agreements, visit the CSU Software Department.
SJSU Students
The Microsoft Student Select Agreement allows students to purchase Microsoft software at significantly reduced prices. This agreement covers Microsoft Office Professional and Microsoft Windows XP Professional. Students can contact the Spartan Bookstore for software pricing and ordering information.
Adobe and Microsoft Software
SJSU campus departments can obtain Adobe and Microsoft Software at special contract prices. Campus faculty and staff can order on-line directly from ASAP Software using their Procurement Card for payment. First obtain a login id and password by completing the ASAP Software Registration Form available from SJSU Procurement & Support Services (PASS) Forms. Ordering instructions will be emailed to requestors when registration forms are processed. Filemaker and Symantec Software
SJSU campus departments can obtain Filemaker and Symantec software at special contract prices. SJSU faculty and staff can order on-line directly from Compucom using their Procurement Card for payment. For detailed ordering instructions, visit Procurement & Support Services (PASS) News. This contractual agreement will soon move to ASAP Software allowing the CSU to have a single re-seller coordinating all CSU purchases. ASAP has agreed to honor the terms of the Compucom agreement and prices will not be affected. Macromedia Software
SJSU campus departments can obtain Macromedia software at special contract prices by ordering directly from the CSU Chancellor's Office. For detailed information and a list of current prices, read the Macromedia Bulletin. To get to Macromedia Bulletin, please go to CSU Software Department and click on Macromedia link. To order, go to Macromedia Software Distribution. Software must be downloaded onto an SJSU campus computer with an SJSU IP address. After the software is downloaded, the Chancellor's office will be notified and will contact your purchase approver for authorization. Once your order has been approved you will be sent the software installation code via email. SAS/SPSS Software
SAS and SPSS are statistical packages of software. The prices are $50.00 for SAS plus SETINITS (SETINITS is the license that you need in order to run SAS) and $30.00 for SPSS plus license. To order, please make a check out to SJSU Academic Technology. Credit cards are not accepted.
