Password Resets

UNIX Account Reset Form [PDF]: You use this form to have your UNIX password reset. These forms are also available at, and must be dropped off, (or faxed to) the ITSS helpdesk located located in Washington Square Room 117B. Note: they can be faxed in to us at 408.924.2317.

Give us a couple of days to reset the password. It must be picked up in person (please bring photo ID) at the ITSS Helpdesk. Phone enquiries about this can be made to 408.924.2377, email helpdesk@sjsu.edu.

Important! UNIX based authentication is going to be phased out, even for UNIX E-mail! All UNIX system users are strongly advised to get a SJSUOne account. You can get one by following the following link from a computer on the University network:
